📔 Procedure & Bookmarks

New to Notion or want to improve your system? I compiled a list of program functions that can enhance your Notion workflow with a navigation bar and bookmarking system. The tutorial covers callouts, linked databases, navigation bars, sync blocks, and a formula to locate empty cells. This is a great place to start learning how to level up your Notion workspace.

The Navigation Bar Design

This is the navigation bar design I go over in the tutorial below. Once you understand how the synced block functions, the design possibilities can go beyond this example.

What is a synced block? It is a block that can be pasted into multiple pages and updated simultaneously in one place. For example, if you have 8 pages that have the same navigation bar, adding something to the bar in page 2 will update in the other 7 pages.

If you’re comfortable with the links in your navigation bar and don’t wish to make further changes, you can unsync the original block. Unsyncing does NOT remove all navigation bars from other pages. It only removes the syncing function.

More about how this program function works in the video below.
