👩‍🎨 Conditional Formatting

Here’s a little Notion hack for the design oriented and visual users. Conditional formatting isn’t currently a feature in Notion, but one can place a database inside a toggle, bullet point, or numbered list to change the color of an entire database.

How To Change Colors

  • Step 1: Create bullet point or toggle or numbered list.

  • Step 2: Change the block color (locate 6 dots to open menu)

  • Step 3: Enter + Tab to create a new child block

  • Step 4: Drag table into child block
