I've never directly used the classic "don't break the chain" method for my work but I have indirectly used it. For instance, I've never had a calendar like this one, ticking off day by day and ensuring I not miss a day of going to the gym. I have, however, accepted this way of thinking after establishing a routine naturally. After one good daily habit surpasses 7 days, I have a hard time "breaking the chain" without feeling guilt. For 2020 I want to start using Notion more, and with the help of databases like this one, habit forming will be less on a whim and more deliberate.
