Want to get started writing notes in Notion? Here's a great template for that. Included is a section for folders and another for notes that connect to one another. Each note has a template button designed to add sibling notes too. For example, if 'Note A' and 'Note D' share the same folder with 'Note C,' the three notes are siblings.

The Setup Of A Note
Upon creating a new note inside the Notes database, there will be an option to select a template called New Note. This will change the icon to the one you see below and create a section for Sibling Notes (notes that reside in the same folder).
The Notes Database Properties
Bookmark: when this box is checked, it will show up in a database view called Bookmarks inside the Notes database.
Type: a dropdown multi-select property to categorize the note.
Folder: a relation property to the Folders database.
Created: an automatic property that recalls the day and time the note was created.
Siblings: a formula that counts the number of siblings a note has.
The Setup Of A Folder
Next to the Notes database is a database called Folders. Here, one can select from a series of buttons to find a nested list of notes that correspond via clicking a template called New Folder.
The Folders Database Properties
Last Uploaded: a rollup that pulls the latest time a note goes into a folder.
Number of Notes: a formula that returns the number of notes in a folder. This formula is shown on the card of each folder.
Type of Notes: a rollup configured to show every type of note populated inside the folder.
